about us

About Renton Veterinary Hospital.
Here at Renton Veterinary Hospital, we treat a wide range of animals from traditional pets (dogs and cats) to exotic. Our charity work, supported by donations from our clients and the public, provides assistance for some abused animals as well as providing care for animals of clients who have died suddenly without a plan for them. Our love for animals of all kinds is endless because we seek to employ people who feel the way we do! We also offer volunteer opportunities for those truly dedicated for animal welfare.

Specialists in neurology, cardiology and internal medicine come in for consultations as needed and when specialty procedures are needed, they are referred out for them. We work with 24 hour emergency and critical care facilities to provide intensive care when needed for our patients.

Pets we treat.
Dogs, Cats, Birds, Iguanas, Bearded Dragons, Chameleons, Snakes, Turtles, Tortoises, Ferrets, Rabbits, Rats, Hedgehogs, Chinchillas, Sugar Gliders, Hamsters, and Mice. We do not see primates or poisonous snakes.

What makes us a Full-Service Hospital?
We see all types of general veterinary cases including emergencies during the day. This requires more and better equipment as well as highly trained staff. When needed, we coordinate and refer to specialists to get our patients the care they need.

We hire the best-qualified doctors' staff we can attract. Our doctors are trained to care for dogs, cats, and then some. Those kinds of doctors are hard to find. We work hard to keep both doctors and staff once they are here. read more
